A little bit more about me.

My name is Georgia and I’m a London based copywriter, with a passion for storytelling and well structured sentences. I am fun at parties I promise.

While I’ve had a varied career spanning everything from local radio to driving golf buggies with Network 10 at the Grand Prix, more recently I worked at Fox Sports in both social media and production, creating compelling sports content for the punters. I also spent three years on a freelance basis at the award-winning podcast She’s on the Money, where I wrote scripts, ads, newsletters and more, as well as presenting two of our three weekly shows - but more on that on the pod page. I am also a freelance writer and have written for Fashion Journal as well as Sarah’s Day, Burbank Homes and Dietitian Edition.

I’ve also been to uni! Twice!

Straight out of school I stumbled into Professional Communication (Journalism) at RMIT, which was fabulous but also I could have tried harder; I blame cask wine and its breathtaking affordability.

Fast forward to now, I have completed my Journalism Masters at Monash University. This was far more productive and saw me writing features, reading teleprompters, producing hard news stories as well as fluffy news stories (my personal favourite) across TV, radio and digital platforms. I finished the top of my class with honours and received the ‘Highest Achievement in the Master of Journalism’ award, which my mum loves to tell her friends about.

I enjoy grapefruit, among other other citrus fruits, as pictured.

Ha! It’s me! Happily holding a grapefruit in my girlfriend’s backyard!
