A little bit more about me.

My name is Georgia and I’m a Melbourne-based copywriter, with a passion for storytelling and alliteration. I’m a good time at parties, I swear.

After almost three years in London working as a copywriter, it was time to shed the seasonal depression, slug my last lukewarm pint and return home to sunny Australia.

While I’ve had a varied career spanning everything from local radio to driving golf buggies for Network 10 at the Formula 1, more recently I worked at Fox Sports in both social media and production, creating compelling sports content for the punters. I also spent three years freelancing for the award-winning podcast She’s on the Money, where I wrote episode scripts, social content, newsletters, blogs and more, plus hosted two of our three weekly shows. I’ve also written in various capacities for Fashion Journal, Sarah’s Day, Savi Communications, and Burbank Homes.

I’ve even been to uni! Twice!

Straight out of school I stumbled into Professional Communication (Journalism) at RMIT, which was fabulous but also I could have tried harder; I blame Asian Beer Cafe’s $1 champagne (moscato) Thursdays.

Fast forward to now, I have completed my Master of Journalism at Monash University. This was far more productive and saw me writing features, producing hard news as well as fluffy news stories (my personal favourite) across TV, radio and digital platforms. I finished top of my class with honours and received the ‘Highest Achievement in the Master of Journalism’ award, which my mum loves to tell her friends about.

I enjoy ice cream, among other dairy products, as pictured.
